ad:Tech New York 2007 Schwag Bag 18th December, 2007
I came home with a sore arm and 3 bags of schwag at ad:Tech New York. I still have yet to go through it efficiently. I will, though, for the purposes of making a cool blog that you all want to come back to. 🙂
Here are 3 pictures:
(The sneakers are mine.) 🙂

This would make an awesome social network, were schwag junkies can show off their loot.
My laptop bag ripped because it was packed with so much schwag at SES Chicago last year.

Jason, I’m actually considering making an addendum to the site where other folks can show off their own stuff. But I don’t program enough to know how unless people will link me to Flickr pages and give me the details. 🙂

I see some OrangeSoda.com schwag in there!

Oh yes, yes there is 🙂

Wow! – I’m the same way! – The first thing I saw in the pile was the “Ice Scraper” and I suddenly realized that I would have grabbed one of those, without a second thought, even though I live in Hawaii. (What’s wrong with me?)
I guess the first step in any recovery program is to realize you have a problem. :^)
However… One thing that I always find disappointing at search conferences is the lack of stickers.

True. I want to sticker up my laptop but I can’t do that unless I know exactly where I want to put the stickers!

Tamar, is there anyway take a Flickr widget and tell it to pull in a specific photo tag.
Then, you could tell people to tag their photos with say, “schwagjunky” and then those would be pulled in by the widget.
Just a slap-dash solution.

Ha! Now I wish I attend such conferences 😛

There are sneakers somewhere in there??
It’s like playing “Where’s Waldo?”

haha Andrea… top photo, smack in the middle on the far left. Yeah. I was exhausted after I hauled three extremely heavy bags up from midtown Manhattan to my apartment in the northwest Bronx and didn’t give the schwag bag the benefit of organization. I just dumped everything out mostly for my friend Matt McGee who wanted me to take photos for him. 😉
