bigmouthmedia Grab Bag

Thursday, December 11th, 2008

SEO firm bigmouthmedia, based in the UK, has some unique offerings for promotional materials. First, well, if you think of a big mouth, you may think of the chatterbox I featured on the blog awhile ago. But nope — there’s more:

There’s an umbrella (that I opened indoors):

There’s a lock:

There’s another chatterbox:

And a notebook:

And then, there’s a really cool mug!

How did this get to me? A big box that looked like it was for a poster arrived at my doorstep — from the United Kingdom, of course. My husband brought it upstairs:

MIMOBOT Stickers for Super-Cool Designer USB Keys

Wednesday, December 10th, 2008

One of the coolest designer USB keys I’ve ever seen comes from MIMOBOT. If you aren’t in need for a cool USB key (though they rock, and you should definitely get one!), you can always get their designer stickers instead. Here are some of their designs, though many are in limited run and they may be sold out before you get a chance to claim ‘em:

As you can tell, though, they do have really cool USB keys. This is one I received at a Microsoft party and celebrates the disturbing videos by the Happy Tree Friends:

I’m also hearing that MIMOBOT is running at holiday Twitter giveaway this month, so check out the rules for your chance to win one of those lovable toys!

Looksmart Hand Sanitizer: Because it’s Cold Season, After All

Tuesday, December 9th, 2008

At a recent trade show, I received this sprayable hand sanitizer from LookSmart. It’s cool, but if you compare them to the highlighters I got from them, I’d rather take a second set of highlighters.

In any event, it’s a great thing to have this season, since the flu is at all time highs. Of course, I actually scored this sanitizer stuff in April, but it’s good to save this stuff for the most opportune time.

And that, for sure, is now.

Sumo Beanbag Chairs = Best Beanbags Ever

Monday, December 8th, 2008

The week before I relocated (which was early September), I received a huge box from bean bag chair company Sumo Lounge. Now mixing boxes and more boxes together meant that I’d have a lot of things to unpack, but eventually I got around to enjoying this most awesome beanbag chair.

That’s me wearing warm clothes for Thanksgiving… in, of course, a Sumo Lounge bean bag chair!

The pictured bean bag chair is a Sumo Omni and I’d call it the best bean bag chair ever (yes, it beats the Google beanbag chair I wrote about earlier by far!). The material is rip-proof nylon, which some have inquired about — honestly, it’s probably the best material for a beanbag chair especially because it’s easier to manage and clean. It’s also incredibly comfortable and can be arranged in 8 positions (or so they’ve found). There are 10 colors available (do you like the midnight blue I got?) and it’s a whole lot of fun.

All in all, I highly recommend the Sumo Omni. It’s an incredibly versatile and super comfortable beanbag chair which would make a great addition to your dorm room, home, or office.
