Schwag Addict Contest: Win a Google Fridge 7th January, 2008
Golfer and Internet Marketer Dan Perry has an awesome ton piece of schwag he wants to give away. Sure, I want it (I’m not going to lie), but instead, we decided it would be in all fairness to start the first Schwag Addict contest.
The winner gets a box…

Inside that box is a really awesome fridge:

Want to see more? Watch the whole video in its entirety and you’ll see how amazing this fridge is (and I still won’t lie. I want it!)
So, how can you win this?
Create a blog post or page on your website that links back to Dan Perry’s official post on the contest so that he gets a trackback and knows you’re in the running. Then, leave a comment on this post to let solidify your vote. What’s the entry? Explain what you’d do with a Google Fridge. The most creative answer (even if you don’t actually apply these creative skills) wins.
In case you missed that, there are 2 steps:
- Create a page that links to Dan’s contest on his blog explaining what you’d do with a Google Fridge.
- Write a comment here letting us know that you’ve entered in the contest.
We have 4 judges for the contest, so the more unique your answer is, the better your chances are to win a piece of Cooler Thinking in your car (yes, this baby is portable), office, or kitchen. The contest will run until Monday, January 14th. Until then, think hard, write your blog post, and maybe you’ll win a piece of serious awesome Google schwag from the very generous Dan.
Good luck, and may the most creative entry win!
Update January 15: Hey guys. The contest is now closed. We’ll be announcing winners next week. Thanks for your entries!
Most of you know that I like schwag. Well, if you didn't, now you do. In fact, I like it so much that I decided it's only fair to highlight the schwag I score then give a plug to the people who provide schwag to me. So if you're looking for some nice publicity (or free reputation management) and want to make someone smile,
I’ll be posting but I wanted to leave a comment first. I sat next to Dan at the SEO poker tournament and he pretty much humiliated and destroyed any and all confidence I had in my poker playing skills. Knocked me out of the tournament before I even got my second beer.
So I’d put all those beers I didn’t get to drink in that fridge. And of course as a further bribe I’d do a lot of linking to my new four favorite peeps.
I wish I was at the poker tournament. Unfortunately, I was on a plane flying back to NY
POST IS UP.
Go read and enjoy. I hope I win I hope I win I hope I win.

Hey Mad Hat,
It’s all in the cards. If I would’ve been sitting to the right of you instead of the left, you would’ve knocked me out. Plus, now it gives you something to look forward to next year; outlasting me!
P.S. I did a guest post on my poker night experience at Purpose Inc’s site. Here’s the post:

I just want to build a cool stuff from this cool stuff, as described at

Aside from being a Google fan, the fridge would be awesome for my dog. Being from Canada, we rarely need to actually use a fridge as it is always so cold up here anyway. But the fact it can also keep things warm is truly intriguing - as my beloved mutt hates it when his raw Buffalo bones freeze. If I placed them in your lovely GFridge it would keep them at an ideal temperature. Without having to defrost the bones, this becomes a very economical and environmentally friendly solution - and Laughing Dog Cafe is all about environmentally friendly solutions!

I just want to become you. And I have plans to pass it on to somebody else by a similar process. Of course after enjoying it for a week. At least thats what striked in my mind in first 5 seconds, and I knew it was the best idea.

Hi~
I am a Google Fan in China. I have collected a lot of Google souvenirs and I have sent some to my Blog readers.
If I could get this Fridge, I will leave it in my dorm, so in the summer my roommates could get the cool feeling of Google! Anyway, Google wants us to share!
Awesome contest (and blog Tamar!). I am definitely in for this.

Well, here in Brazil we are in summer now. The temperature is so high that I can’t sleep at night.
I’m using a fan, but it doesn’t help because the air inside my bedroom is very hot…
But, if I use this fridge, I will have how to keep my bedroom with an ideal temperature to sleep… I’m going to put the fridge with the door open in front of the fan and I will get a very good cold air…
Well… It’s not impossible! This fridge is from google!!!
Please Dan, help me to have a good sleep at night!
Thanks a lot
JC
