drop.io Schwag: Stress Ball and T-Shirt

Friday, July 25th, 2008

Last month, I went to a great party with the folks at simple file sharing site drop.io and sponsored by Allen Stern of Center Networks, and at the party, I bugged Sam to get me a shirt he supposedly promised me months ago 😉

Well, it is finally here!

Here’s the front:

And the back:

They also have stress ball schwag too!

Great party, drop.io guys. (And thanks Allen!)

TheDailyGreen.com’s Organic T-shirt

Thursday, July 24th, 2008

A few weeks ago, I met the smart team behind the excellent green-centric website, The Daily Green, which has a lot of great news for consumers about how to go green. As a little gift, my good friend and Daily Green writer Brian provided me with this really awesome shirt — which of course, is made with organic cotton.

Thank you guys (and everyone, go read some awesome Daily Green news at www.thedailygreen.com)

Blogger Schwag: Gloves and a BIG Sticker

Wednesday, July 23rd, 2008

At SXSW in March, a Blogger party was held. I didn’t really get there on time but my friends Jason Falls and Jane Quigley made sure that I was taken care of with these somewhat uncomfortable (but altogether pretty unique) gloves:

At South by Southwest, they also handed out HUGE Blogger stickers:

It’s a little too big for a laptop (especially the 12″ screen I’m using to write up this blog post), but it’s definitely got “memorable” attached to it!

StartupSchwag Bag #8: lijit, Amazee, BookGlutton, Pixish, ReturnMoi, SocialBomb, Shoutlet, Lazygirls, and Zambino

Tuesday, July 22nd, 2008

Last month, my favorite schwag service Startup Schwag had a great grab bag filled with high quality goodies and fun.

The shirt refers to social search service lijit. The stickers are from Amazee, a social collaboration platform, Book Glutton, a social book discussion website, Shoutlet, a web 2.0 marketplace, Zambino, a video advertising platform, and Lazygirls.info, a celebrity resource site. There was also a cool deal for ReturnMoi which aims to recover lost items to their rightful owners and a pin for Pixish, an online social image site.

I know how many people have claimed that they wish they got schwag, and Startup Schwag is really one of the best ways to get high quality stuff on a recurring basis. I can’t recommend Startup Schwag enough. It’s $14.95/month, but you get all this (and sometimes even more; no, I did not get that awesome Ubuntu shirt!)
