WebTrends Marketing Lab Magnets

Friday, April 4th, 2008

Probably one of the most useful pieces of schwag I’ve scored at conferences is the set of magnets from marketing intelligence firm WebTrends. The magnets are really strong and are great refrigerator fixtures. Here’s what they look like, and they come in a magnetic box, too!

eVisibility “nofollow” T-Shirt

Thursday, April 3rd, 2008

Most of you who attended the really great SMX West conference in California in late February saw these awesome shirts from the folks at Search Engine Optimization firm eVisibility, but for those of you who haven’t, these shirts were really the talk of the town. And you can see why from the photos (which were specific to men and women).

Here’s the ladies tee:

And the back!

Not sure what nofollow is? They illustrate how nofollow works on their blog, too.

Great shirts, guys.

And the Tech Schwag Gets Better: Superb Hosting

Wednesday, April 2nd, 2008

The really generous folks at web site hosting and dedicated hosting provider Superb Hosting have provided me with a free server. I have to really thank Curtis for this one — you’re a really fine and generous guy.

Superb Hosting Server

Superb Hosting is one of the premier hosts around, with dedicated servers that host such sites as SEOmoz and many files on SourceForge.net. They are, in a nutshell, awesome.

I’ve started using the server and was able to get my husband’s train photography website up and running with the help of some really excellent guys on their support staff, and I’m really impressed so far. This is how web hosting should be. 🙂

Thank you, Superb Hosting!

Coolest Schwag Ever: Imperial Jets Paperweight

Friday, March 28th, 2008

Neal Rodriguez at private jet charter Imperial Jets sent me this personalized piece of schwag, and boy, is it sweet!

Imperial Jets Schwag

This is probably the heaviest schwag I scored. It’s a laser-engraved lucite paperweight with my name, a jet, and it’s signed by your friend, Neal at Imperial Jets.com.

Thanks so much guys! This was totally awesome!
