Snap.com Stickers, a Flashy Pen, and Mints!

Monday, January 21st, 2008

A few weeks ago, I posted about the Snap.com baseball cap and T-shirt that I got at ad:Tech NYC. Well, a lovely fellow named Paul decided to surprise me with some more cool Snap schwag, which includes Kosher mints, a pen, and stickers:

Snap.com Schwag

In case you were wondering, Snap.com offers “snapshots” — that is, views of a website before you actually access the website. It takes your code and if users mouse over your links, they’ll see the page they’re about to visit.

Thanks to Paul and the Snap guys and gals!

Karl Ribas Gets Kreative with a Klog

Monday, January 21st, 2008

Karl Ribas is a great guy who maintains a Search Engine Marketing Blog called the Klog. So when we met a few months ago, he handed me one of his signature schwag pieces, the wooden klog, which was inspired by one of those clogs that you might have worn once upon a time (or still do).

I think this is an incredible and cute way to get your name out. Karl, you definitely got my attention with this one!

Wow, when took pictures of a whole bunch of ePromos.com schwag, I didn’t realize that there would be a bigger surprise when I turned on the mini fan that they gave me. This, my friends, is pretty darn cool!

Thanks again Mark and the ePromos team!

FotoTickr Mug and Magnet

Sunday, January 20th, 2008

There’s a new photo site based on the Flickr API in town, and it’s called Fototickr. The site features scrolling images of Flickr’s greatest photos. Just go to the page and see for yourself.

The kind folks on the Fototicker team sent me a mug which is super cool — in addition to an awesome fridge magnet.

You never can have too many fridge magnets. On that note, here’s a picture of my fridge.

Thanks guys!
