Introducing the Schwag Addict Website 17th December, 2007
I think it’s only fair to create this website to highlight all the goodies I’ve scored from colleagues and at conferences over the past few months.
As I keep saying, schwag to me is like candy! You can never have too much of a good thing. 🙂 (Did I mention that schwag brings out the inner child in me?)

Consider your link on the Patricks facebook thread a success at driving traffic to your blog. But then again, perhaps this comment is nothing more than a carefully designed spam comment to drive more traffic to my blog..hmmm.. the implications are endless.

Hey Tamar,
Just saw Loren’s post at SEJ hehe. Well, we all have our weird habits and hobbies, right?!
Now I know where I should have looked for you during PubCon 🙂
Btw. The blog template has a problem in IE because of the wide images.
Only during the initial load. After that (when cached) its fine, due to the overflow settings of the main content DIV.
It’s fine in FireFox…. I know, “god damn techies”, but I ought to let you know 🙂

What purpose said.
I reckon my card counts as schwag – it comes with a free puzzle on it after all!

Aren’t they call catchkas ??

You can call them whatever you want, but yeah, the three terms are schwag, swag, and chatchkas (except nobody can really spell the latter) 🙂

Great idea. You should totally open it up to user-submitted pics of their own schwag. I get some weird movie-industry stuff.

Taymar (!) glad to hear it.
Not sure what the best term is for the gooides themselves, but we call the art of getting hold of them blagging…
