LeaderPromos Goody Bag

Friday, June 12th, 2009

I had a stork come deliver a baby on my doorstep three weeks ago, but I’ve also been getting a flurry of awesome packages lately. One of the more overdue thank yous goes to promotional products site Leaderpromos.com, who sent a bunch of really cool stuff.

Everything came in this cool promo bag:

I stumbled upon a heavy duty note cube at first:

And for more note-taking, there was this notebook:

Here’s a really cool eco-friendly promotional pad:

They also had a great travel mug:

I like keychains, so their custom imprinted key chain was also pretty nice, as was the
promotional pen that came in the box!

Plus, there was this pen and highlighter combo as well:

I also love USB drives, though the small-sized ones (<1GB) are starting not to be able to hold much for me. Despite that, this promotional USB drive met my minimum criteria and works! 🙂

(Course, I’m not sure if you need all the other accessories, since most new computers are Plug N Play and never ask!)

Additional trade show giveaways included this pad:

which had cool post-its inside:

and post-its:

Thanks guys!

ODEUS Skate Sweatshirt: Subways!

Tuesday, June 9th, 2009

My husband loves subways. Therefore, it was really awesome to receive this super cool subway hoodie from skate online clothing shop Odeus.

Odeus also sent some cool stickers, including a bumper sticker. But since I can’t find the photo I took, I will just have to save that for another blog post. 😉

O’Reilly Shirt: My Web My Way

Monday, June 8th, 2009

Next month, my book, The New Community Rules (Amazon link), is going to be released. The book covers social media marketing and how to leverage mostly free existing tools to turbocharge your business. The publisher is O’Reilly.

That brings me to this post. O’Reilly maintained a booth at a conference I attended (perhaps it was Web 2.0 Expo or ad:tech, though at this point, I have no recollection!) and handed out these interesting shirts.

And on the other side:

Manvil: Postcards for Kids

Thursday, June 4th, 2009

John from Manvil.com maintains a very interesting business. Manvil specializes in creating flashcards of things I’d never know the names of for adults and for kids. Here’s an example of the flashcards:

I never knew that there existed such a thing called “vice grips.” Surely, this tool educates those real construction workers among us 🙂

John was also kind enough to send me a construction tee. It’s so orange that you would definitely be able to spot me from any distance in a work environment. 🙂 Thanks John!
