(Tamar Weinberg is a) Schwag Addict

Dave Bonta who runs online literary magazine qarrtsiluni sent me this oversized and very neat-looking mug. Given that it’s the coldest it’s been so far this year, the timing is perfect. (Also good timing: my birthday is in two days. No, that’s not a hint. 😉 )

What is qarrtsiluni? According to their site, it is a collaborative effort on artistic expression. If you’re a writer or like reading creative works, this site looks pretty darn cool.

Website Snap.com, a website that easily allows people to see descriptions and snapshots of links, gave out this really awesome shirt (and hat) at ad:Tech NYC.

Really, nothing says it better than “I Shot the Internets.”

Allen Stern from web 2.0 site CenterNetworks and I met for lunch on Sunday and he hooked me up with some schwag from Blog World Expo (which I didn’t go to, but maybe next year!).

Included in the picture is:

1. IZEA (formerly known as PayPerPost) cup holder
2. Bottle opener keychain from informational site Memestreams.net
3. Squishy (and super cute) cow from mobile site Utterz.com
4. T-Shirt from YieldBuild ad network
5. 2 T-shirts from the B5 media blog network. One says “AdSense buys my daily coffee (and keeps the change)” and the other says “Google is my pimp.”

One of my inspirations to this whole schwag ordeal was Jeremy “Shoemoney” Schoemaker who sent me a box of Shoemoney and NextPimp goodness which I received over the weekend. Included within were a few shirts, pens, pads, and magnets:
