gdgt Meetup Stickers

Monday, January 25th, 2010

In September, gadget site gdgt had a NYC meetup. At the meetup, you could explore the latest and greatest gadgets of the time. You could also score STICKERS! The stickers below are “HAVE” gdgt stickers based on how the gdgt platform works. You go through a list of gadgets, choose “want” if you want it, “have” if you have it, and “had” if you had it. Obviously, the only sticker that makes sense, then, is the one you “have.”

Boxee also visited, as did Rockstar games, so that explains why there are stickers for GTA and Boxee. Both rock, btw.

Pretty sweet – Here’s a luggage tag that I scored at SXSW 09 that displays, “everybody loves a Geeky Girl.” I happen to consider myself a geek.

Do Something!

Tuesday, December 15th, 2009

Do Something! is this awesome charity initiative that empowers teens to do things offline after connecting online. It’s a great idea, and they use Twitter and everything else (I saw their splash screen on a JetBlue flight, channel 13. Did you?)

Here’s some great Do Something schwag that I got after my baby was born:

Do Something! banner. This thing is huge. Do you see the baby toy in the background? I have no idea where I am going to display this thing – maybe out my window? 🙂

Moishe’s Moving Truck

Thursday, December 10th, 2009

Moishe’s Moving is based in the tri-state area. If you ever need to relocate, they’re a good company to talk to. The company is using social media, too, which is great, through Twitter, Facebook, and even their own blog.

When my son is a little older, he’ll get to play with this toy-sized (palm sized?) Moishe’s moving truck:

Thanks Moishe’s!
