New Acquisio T-Shirt!

Monday, August 31st, 2009

You might have seen the “I hate doing this t-shirt from PPC management company Acquisio before. They decided to make their second t-shirt iteration a little less vulgar 😉

It says:

I report to no one (acquisio does).

and on the back, it shows the acquisio logo:

This must’ve come from Pubcon last year since it was the last search conference (!!) I attended.

Life Has Been Chaotic: Create Chaos

Monday, July 20th, 2009

Last year, the Create Chaos conference was held in October in Orlando, FL. I didn’t make it out there but Katrina from Brahn Communications was a big participant in making that conference happen (and of course, ensuring that I got the shirt), so here goes:

And yes, life really has been chaotic. That’s why you’re seeing this post several months later. 🙂

BIG Promotions: BIG Schwag Bag

Thursday, July 2nd, 2009

The biggest schwag package I have received to date most certainly comes from Big Promotions, a branded promotional items shop. I don’t even know if I can describe all of this stuff in the photos that follow, but I’ll most certainly try.

First, I’m going to start off by showing you the multiple varieties of branded boxes of mints. Seriously, I had no idea there were so many ways to go about this.

(who knew real estate agents gave out mints? It’s a great idea!)

mmmm, WSOP!

The prescription mint? A great idea, except for this part.

My favorite:

Then there’s custom lip balm. I like lip gloss.

And the promotional hand sanitizer:

And the measuring tape:

And binder clips:

which come in this box:

Can we say cups? The stadium cups, oh my!

Now with Video!

(Check out these cups!)
The outside:

and the inside:

And another one:

and the inside of that one:

Or fun glasses-type cups:

Or squirt bottles (with straws?)

Or lanyards?

Or branded dry erase boards?

How about door hangers and bookmarks and magnets? There are business card magnets, double business cards, 4×7 promotional magnets, and more.

Regular and sticky notepads are there too.

And a cool thermos:

And a bag:

And a few t-shirts:

And a branded cooler bag (or is it an insulated cooler?):

Thanks Rich!

FailWhale T-Shirt

Thursday, October 30th, 2008

Tim Limongello is a clever dude. Several months ago, when microblogging platform Twitter failed all the time, he came up with the concept of the Fail Whale — Twitter’s “unavailable” page had a whale being carried by birds (I never understood that) — and he made sure you saw it even if you didn’t use Twitter.

So is it really a surprise that the Fail Whale phenomenon had its own shirt?

Speaking of which, while Twitter has gotten more stable lately, I’m still running into issues — so this shirt is definitely not still outdated. That said, get your own t-shirt here.

You can follow me on Twitter if you wish.
