Efficient Frontier Luggage Handle

Monday, August 18th, 2008

Ever get annoyed that you have the standard piece of luggage but don’t have a way to distinguish it from the crowd of suitcases that get thrown onto the baggage terminal at the airport? Well, search marketing group Efficient Frontier address that problem with a fluorescent orange luggage handle that you can use again and again (it’s got Velcro, baby) on your suitcases when you travel.

Unfortunately, at a later event, I discovered that Efficient Frontier did without their luggage thingamabobs after all, and now they’re sticking to pens:

I suggest that you reconsider, guys, since the luggage holder actually comes in rather handy; I don’t need a red ribbon when I go to the baggage claim (and yes, the husband and I have used the orange thingies on more than one occasion!)

Search Marketing Gurus Sticky Guy

Friday, August 15th, 2008

Remember being a kid and finding those sticky slimy things that you’d throw against the wall (and watch as the residue stuck to it while the toy’s adhesiveness got less and less sticky?) Well, I have one! Yay!

Thanks to Li Evans of blog Search Marketing Gurus, I have a sticky guy that is reminiscent of my childhood when I got in trouble for throwing these things against the wallpaper.

A suggestion for all of you who plan on using this: windows are best.

More Great Oh! Nuts Goodies

Thursday, August 14th, 2008

As you probably know, I like kosher candy (and yes, it’s the only candy I’ll eat). Bulk candy distributor Oh! Nuts came around again and sent some favorites as well as some new tasty delights:

The package contained assorted jelly beans (which are really good and rival Jelly Belly from what I hear), fiery hot jalapeno pistachios, and Wasabi blast mix. The stuff there is REALLY good and I highly recommend buying your candies from them in the future.

PurposeInc.com Poker Tournament T-Shirt

Wednesday, August 13th, 2008

Last December, at Las Vegas PubCon, a select group of esteemed search marketers participated in a charity poker event. Unfortunately, while they were playing, I was on my way back to NY, but fortunately, Dr. David Klein of Purpose Incorporated sent me (and the hubby) one of the tees he had left over.

Sponsors of the event included Pat Sexton of SEOish (who was supposed to get me this shirt but forgot!), the great guys at Best of the Web, Michael Dorausch from Planet Chiropractic, and the Chipotle Mexican Grill.

Thank you David! 🙂
